New outdoor hutch for a rabbit?

we just built a nice sized outdoor hutch for my rabbit. it has an open area with chicken wire, and a closed area with a roof and walls. it is pretty big, and it just looks pretty sparse and boring. i want to make it more comfortable for her, other than putting bedding and/or straw in the box with her. does anyone have any ideas of things i can use that are safe for rabbits? please help! thanks.
