That is very frustrating and i feel your pain. that story mad me mad just reading it. And to your question sadly the kid will always be held higher than the dog. whether the kid provoked the bite or aggression its always going to be the dogs fault. :( ppl will blame you for not properly training the dog and that it wasn't the childs fault.
