Can I use dog fur or hair trimmings as home insulation?

I want a really productive use for it! I already put it out for nesting birds, add it to my garden to keep out deer..etc( which doesnt work), I know people knit with it, but I dont knit , and I still have a ton left over!Can I turn it into a building material? Fuel?I use it to add support material when I work with plaster, what else is there?I'd love to hear some serious brainstorming!Thanks!
