Question about Yanmar farm tractors?

First, 2x4 means it has four wheels and only two of them drive the tractor. Of course 4x4 means all four wheels drive the tractor. The four wheel drive is nice for hills, wet areas, snow, where additional traction is needed. It doesn't give the tractor more power, just more traction. If you are mowing flat, dry ground this sounds like a viable option. Note, if you find that you need more traction you can put tire chains on the drive wheels. Talk to the guy that is selling it, if he is above board he will tell you about the limitations of the tractor. Have him look at your property or bring the tractor over and demenstrate it.
