Do i need pport for nepal?

i dont have a pport. m an indian citizen and want to fly to kathmandu for 3 days . do i need a pport for going to nepal from india . i do not have a voter id also. but i have driving license and PAN card and father's ration card. are these sufficient or will i need a pport.also plz give answers with latest information
