Chest pains with asthma?

i dont know if its to do with asthma but every now and then i get a very sharp jabbing pain on my right side just under my . it really hurts when i inhale or exhale too much so i have to lean right foward and stay like that untill its gone. sometimes i take my inhaler and its ok other times it gets unbearable. i think its probably related to my asthma but i dont know can anyone help and any suggestions on what to do
